A honey bee foraging on basswood (Tillia spp) tree flowers. Too many Japanese beetles around to see enough honey bees. Basswood trees were planted by Prof. G. Ayers, in a project to breed basswood blooming at different times during the summer. MSU entomology building. July 25, 2003.
