Bees foraging on a beebee tree (Evodia danielli, Rutaceae). Count how many bees are here! Now you know why this tree is so named. Photo by Walt Pett. MSU campus. August 18, 2003. I went back the next day, a bit late during the day, but could not find as many bees again! Time of day is also important, even for a good honey plant such as this.
